Calvert County CERT along with Calvert Co. Dept. Public Safety, Drum Point Property Owners Assoc. and MD Wing Civil Air Patrol are holding a Joint Disaster Exercise on Aug. 15.

1. The importance of private-public sector collaboration to enhance disaster resilience;

2. The legal requirements vs. the operational realities of public-private sector partnerships;

3. Cross-sector challenges in allocating scarce resources during a catastrophe;

4. Private sector responsibilities during a disaster: Sharing information, providing goods & services to support response & recovery, exercising good corporate citizenship, and associated costs;

5. Balancing private sector interests with community interests during an emergency;

6. Integrating private non-profit and for-profit businesses into the economic resiliency effort.

We are forming a Cert Assn in the Monterey tri county area. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on how they formed there Assn?

I agree we use cert-kit.com for 80% of our additional needs. Our fire department training officer provides the packs for new classes through grants from OES.

There are many sites with good packs available.One that is particularly good,is store.cert-kits.com.This one allows you to specify contents and custom order them.Or type in cmcgov.com
Do some checking,a lot of variance in price with some vendors.

getting ready for my first cert traning where is a good place or a good way to get CERT packs for the attendees
